What JC.Com Is Not Listening To: Kenny Chesney

What happens to human consciousness upon death? Do dogs have souls? Why is 'Young Country' music popular? These and many other questions were thrown around a JC.Com conference room after watching one of 'Young Country' music's biggest stars perform in a video. Kenny Chesney is his name and he appears to be a huge star. In the video he wore cowboy boots. He is also wore a sleeveless shirt that revealed arms that shouldn't be sticking out of a sleeveless shirt. The only time to wear a sleeveless shirt is really never. He wore a baseball cap in the video as a way to extend his appeal beyond rural America and into the suburbs. His expensive jeans, two sizes too small, coupled with his capped bleached teeth conjours up an image of a cowboy moving 20,000 head of cattle across Colorado.

The crowd appeared reletively normal looking. People that could be seen just about anywhere really. But it was clear they had never heard, 'Honky Tonk Man' by Dwight Yoakum or "Streets Of Bakersfield' by Buck Owens. If they had heard those selections, they would have been doing something completely different. In the end they got what they deserved, another case of the crowd being as clever as the performer.
