1. I apologize profusely for the lack of attention that we have given this distinguished blog. The hiatus has been a direct result of my retirement from the sport of soccer, which you can read about here, and my time, which I thought was going to be consumed by rest, relaxation, and golf, has been burdened with what I'm going to do with the rest of my life, which has yet to be decided.

2. In the midst of my "free" time, I have morphed the extremely popular "The Jimmy Conrad Podcast" into "Jimmy Conrad's American Soccer Spectacular." It's a new weekly show that I am hosting with my BFF, Frank Kuzava, we're already eight episodes in and it includes special guest appearances by Steve Cherundolo, Kyle Beckerman, Heath Pearce, Davy Arnaud, Brad Evans, Nat Borchers, Kei Kamara, Steve Ralston, Landon Donovan, Brad Davis, Chad Barrett, Stu Holden, and Todd Dunivant.
