Review - Netherlands v. Denmark

After waking up at dawn to watch my cousins from across the Atlantic play the arrogant Dutch team, I suffered through a 2-0 loss and the smug movements and ability of Van Bommel, Van De Vaart, Van Wilder, Van Persie, and Van Morrison.  To cap it off, the guy who played Chunk in the movie, “The Goonies,” scored the second goal to finish us off.  What a disgrace!

If we plan on advancing from this group, we need to play like the Danish of yore with delectable passing, savory defending, and mouth-watering finishing.

We are Denmark, we are Vikings, hear us roar!
